This is our favorite box to use for refrigerated truck freight. There are tiny holes in the bottom corners which allows water to escape. This prevents the box from getting soft. Lobsters travel very well because the cold air is able to easliy permeate through the cardboard and effectively keep them nice and cool. We also include gel ice packs and wet newspaper on top to keep them cold.

Another feature to this box is removable slots. We prefer to use these slots when shipping new shell lobster. The slots hold the lobsters in a vertical postion with their claws facing up. Traveling like this has proven to be excellent for the lobsters and keeps them strong and healthy for our customers.
