Our Process

Maine Lobster Company™ is strategically located on the working waterfront in Portland Maine. The lobsters land in our facility which results in the lobster never leaving the water, once the boats land. The lobsters are offloaded and go directly into the water fall system to be seasoned, they are then individually graded for size and quality to the highest standards. After the lobsters are graded they are then placed back under the water fall system. When its time to pack, the lobsters are pulled out of the water and individually packed and checked for quality before shipping. Once they are packed they are loaded into refrigeration trucks and brought directly to Boston, New York or Newark for shipment all over the world.
